All members new and old please read!
http://www.selfsufficientish.com/forum/ ... 50#p125750
Our rules have been updated from time to time so I would like to bring them to your attention in case you have either never read them or haven't looked at them for some time.
As you know we are often hit by spammers, whether of the spambot variety or the human variety who see fit to use this forum as free advertising and are then never heard from again. For this reason we have decided that in order for new members to place any links on the forum as per the above rules on advertising, there will be a blanket automatic ban on signatures and website links until the member has achieved 25 posts. Unfortunately it has also recently come to light that in doing so, new members will not be able to use the Personal Message function until they have made 25 posts also. This is part of the forum software so the two (signature and PM block) can't be separated; the reason for this is because the spambots can also use the PM facility to pass on their advertising attacks so we have deemed it best to keep that block on.
If any new member has a query and needs to talk to a moderator please just make a posting on the forum (this thread will be as good a place as any) and we will try to help you!
Thanks.

Re: All members new and old please read!
I'm really sorry, but I have just put a post up which blatantly advertises our courses at Bulworthy Project. I did not realise that this is not allowed and will not be at all offended if you remove the post. I would ask you not to remove my membership though as the forum is of interest to me as someone living a low impact, selfsufficientish lyfestyle.
Good luck in all you do!

Re: All members new and old please read!
Hi, I joined SelfSufficientish in 2005 and have been on and off the forum over the years. I tried to log in today and my account is deactivated. I created this account so that I could ask if my old account could be reactivated please (it's got all my old messages on it and I'd like to be able to read through them again).
Please could one of the Admins PM me to help? Thanks :-)

I think Ive already reactivated it. I did wonder if it was the same person but a different email address. Welcome back whichever one you choose.
