Hello from Meath

Post: # 291620Post dungareegirl »

Hello, just discovered this forum
I live in Meath in Ireland with my husband and daughter. We have a fairly big garden - big to us anyway! In previous years (although not for a while) we've grown some fruit & veg & herbs but never really produced much (various reasons beyond our control). I've always wanted to grow and produce more and be a bit more self-sufficient - ish

I have made jam and chutney with some of our produce in years past but again none for a while now. I suppose my main reason for being on here is to pick up that longing for the Good Life again and hopefully get more back into it.

That's me :)

I've already said hello but hello again

I find th self-sufficiency thing varies by person, time and circumstances. We all find our own elements that we can enjoy doing or fit in with life's demands. But if you want to get back into it you're in the right place.

Have a look around, we've got tons of info in the forum and on the blog site. any questions, feel free to shout up.

Hi Dungareegirl - welcome!

I used to wear dungarees when I was younger... They were very fashionable when I was a teenager. I had a yellow pair. (Argh!!!)
