Thanks Mike!

I got the elderberry cordial wine started this afternoon, and the raspberry TC tasted very promising as I bottled it. Just need to find some cider yeast to get some more TC underway, I know there's a sachet or three in one of these drawers.. ..

T'other half went out and collected dandelion heads yesterday - the one dry and sunny day we've had for a few weeks when we could do this. They're now sweeping and tomorrow should be sieved out and have the sugar added, water and yeast. The recipe is from CJJ Berry and worked ok last year.

I'm bartering with one of my colleagues for a load of rhubarb. I'd like to make some wine with it but I wondered what flavours go well with it - any tried and tested recipes you could pass on? Would rhubarb and elderflower work well? :flower: :study:

I made this recently - its flavour is good but it lacks body - try adding 200-500gms sultanas to it (per gal)

Started a beech-leaf noyau this morning, first time I've tried this herbal liquor. Certainly seems straightforward enough.

Opened a bottle of raspberry syrup TC last night, very nice will be doing that again :thumbright:

Well we finally bottled the Vimto wine today. I just hope you're right about mixing wines that have artificial sweeteners with lemonade, Mike. We won't get back the time we devoted to this sh1te!
