BRISTOL GREEN STORE needs producers

Post: # 129428Post Moon_Mother »

NEW ECO SHOP
BRISTOL GREEN STORE
Promotes Local Producers!

The Bristol Green Store stocks PRACTICAL items made by local people!

As a busy new venture, we have put together an application process in order to minimise the admin time involved at each stage for both ourselves and producers.

The Bristol Green Store is about promoting local, practical, excellent quality products to the Bristol and surrounding areas. We are an independent not-for-profit organisation, run by producers, and currently our landlord & retail partner is The Ghost Office.

The Bristol Green Store has a clear remit of offering practical, sustainable and preferably local goods – whilst we are excited about the many wonderful craft and art items available in Bristol, only craft items which meet this remit are included and we do not stock artworks.

1. First check whether:
a) your products or services fit the Bristol Green Store’s remit of ‘practical, sustainable, preferably local’ goods
b) that you have the necessary business insurance (required)
c) that you can provide a steady supply of goods, ensuring reliability for our customers

If you fit this remit please send us info about you and your products- http://www.bristolgreenstore.co.uk/apply.html

We OPEN 1st Nov and would love to include as many producers as possible - so contact us to join in!

Don't think I'm local enough to help - but BEST WISHES with the enterprise! :thumbright:

Hi
I used to do quite a lot of crafts and concentrated on making things from recycled or natural materials. I don't do much at the moment due to time pressures but my contract is due to end next year so I might have another go. I'm in Swindon, is that local enough?

Cheers - and very good luck with the venture.

Zoe

Hi Zoe
we are trying to stick with Bristol producers and also practical items- so not so much arty things...but feel free to send us some details...we run as a collective and there will be a few of us on the 'panel' deciding what we sell- so its worth applying! see http://www.bristolgreenstore.co.uk/apply.html

We had a stall at the Create Festive Fayre and I spotted your stand, I picked up a leaflet and I made a mental note to come and visit your shop and to find out if you would be interested in stocking some of our products! all of our products are practical and hardwearing, we make bags, belts, peg bags and laundry bags from vintage and recycled fabrics.

thanks for the link, I will be in touch :)
