My apple Tree

Post: # 247872Post Pumpkin&Piglet »

I am well impressed with this - even if I do say so myself!

I bought an apple from T***o's, ate it and planted the pips (I planted 6, 4 grew but only 1 - the first to begin growing - has survived) and I now have an 18 month old Apple Tree.
This is my prized plant but it was severely stunted this year in its growth by what i think is powdery mildew.
From what I can gather it will disappear come next summer and all will be normal again.
Are there any details or any advice anyone can offer

Also, will it be ok in one of those plastic mini greenhouses, outside over the winter? It looks pretty sorry for itself given the fungus :(
