What a brilliant resource. And pretty useful for those of us who are not in Bristol, too.

I wondered who 'duo.irational' might be (especially as it seems to be spelt wrongly), but it seems not to be related to the forum owners.

Good find but slightly alarmed at the reference to Japanese Knot weed - its a notifiable weed and should be reported to your local environmental health dept

Just chop off the end of the addy and all is revealed: http://duo.irational.org/

Great idea, but it doesn't seem to take into account the necessity of getting permission to harvest from potential owners of the 'free foods' listed.

Interesting people with some interesting ideas.

Re knotweed - http://www.netregs.gov.uk/netregs/proce ... 6/?lang=_e

As it regenerates itself from the tiniest fragment of plant tissue you should not cut it down or try to dig it out as all you'd be doing is adding to it's potential spread which is illegal. On the up side though the seeds are infertile, or we'd all be in really deep do-do.
