Don't suppose anyone wants to sell a wind generator do they?

I'm planning on wiring my new house with 12v lighting so i can
run them off wind/solar/batteries.

You never know, you might be lucky. But be sure to tell us all how it pans out when you do the installation. Maybe keep a blog about it, or write an article for the main SS-ish site.

How about making your own turbine? I've seen plans on the net for this, but I think it's quite a big task if you're doing it from scratch.

I've just bought an e-book off ebay about this very thing last night- I could do something very naughty and send you a copy if you want. It has a list of things to buy and where to find them to build and maintain your own.

let me know if your interested
Kind thoughts
Deb
