Achocha tea

Post: # 291593Post Thomzo »

I have some fat babies growing again this year. I’ve read that the seeds can be brewed into a tea which is good for a number of ailments from blood pressure to digestional disorders. Does anyone know how to make the tea? So far I’ve just thrown the seeds in a mug and poured just boiled water on them but I was wondering whether they’d be better ground up?

I'm guessing it's as you've already tried. A quick Google search, which I'm sure you've already done, makes only very brief references to "and a tea can be made from the seeds". I did see a site that mentioned the whole fruit, dehydrated and powdered, was also used to make tea and/ or put in smoothies.
