Early potty training

Post: # 236970Post chickenchargrill »

I'm experimenting with child number 3. It's the last time and that's what kids are for. Anyway, we're trying early potty training (he's 7 months) and I was wondering whether anyone else on here had any experience of this.

I'm trying the 'Turkish method' of saying Cheesh, drawing it out so it sounds like wee. It's working today and he's peed in the potty. Then looked at me like I had a screw loose for cheering.

I don't expect him to be completely dry in a month or anything, but the less used nappies the better.

Have you looked into Elimination Communication? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elimination_communication There'll be forums out there to ask more.
