just had a brain wave moment.... I'm making a greenhouse soon, wonder if tyres will make a good wall to build off earthship style....
Any thoughts.....

Big Al - tyres filled with rammed earth will make an excellent south facing wall for a greenhouse. Being so dense and black they provide excellent thermal mass and will absorb the heat from the sun. When the greenhouse cools in the evening the heat is released from the tyres back into the greenhouse. Will work well in winter too.
