Looking for Experience with Straw Self-Build

Post: # 224436Post Avalon »

Hello people!

The other half and me are looking for a chance to get some experience in building a straw house. Is anyone planning on doing so? If so, we're free for a week towards the end of June. I'm afraid this can only be in the UK, so sorry if anyone from America desperately needs labour!

Please feel free to PM me, although I don't quite have the kudos (25 posts to my name) to be able to reply, yet. So if you want, leave me your email address or something, or reply directly on this thread, and we'll take it from there.

All the best and thanks in advance,

Avalon

Sign up to volenteer at Lammas in West wales http://www.lammas.org.uk/index.htm

I've just returned from a week there helping to build the timber framed strawbale and cob community hub. It was wonderful. Lovely people and surroundings. Highly recommended

I am building a loadbearing straw bale house in the Scottish Borders. Bales are planned for the end of May!
