Firefox, the selfsufficientish browser of choice

Tomorrow's World was a show on BBC TV about innovations and tech stuff and I thought a good name for our computing and tech section.

Yep, anything you post or send through the Google Chrome browser can be published by them whenever and wherever they want including anything personal you may write within private forums etc etc etc.

I do believe someone sent their name and address to someone via a Private Message which was then found during a Google search... which to me is a bit unnerving.

According to OH -computer geek - FF has 44% share of internet usage outside "ish" - IE 6+7 having combined toal of 47%. It's shot up over the last year or so - with us obviously leading the way! Either that or we just spend a lot more time online!

i stopped using and uninstalled chrome when I found that five on demand doesn't play on it, no matter how many times I download the plug-in.

and yeah, the TaCs sound decidedly dodgy to me... mind you, i've got a google mail account too rofl!

I'm having problems with firefox at the moment

I am having troubles logging into this site

Every time I start a new session I have to clear my cache and cookies before it will keep me logged in

Very annoying :angryfire:
