Can these plants be grown outside in the SE?

I have only ever seen these grown as houseplants

According to the RHS spathiphyllum can be grown outside in frost-free conditions, well-drainig soil and no more than partial shade. So, depending where you are, maybe grow in a pot outdoors and move under cover for winter. Anthurium seem to need too much humidity in summer for outdoor growing.

Yep, like a lot of houseplants, they can go outside in warmer parts of the uk, but will need to be brought back in before it gets too cold, that is why the Victorians loved their conservatories, they could grow these plants all year round
