Houseplant identification

I bought an unidentified plant from Wilko. When I got home I emailed them with the barcode and another number and asked them to identify it for me. They said it was a ficus plant, which seems strange. I've attached two photos in the hope that someone can tell me what the plant is.

Looks like a Tradescantia to me.

Yes, especially the variegated leaves. Is there one plant or two?
When I was a good deal younger it was called Wandering Jew, but that's probably not politically correct now.
