Getting ready for winter

Post: # 293008Post old tree man »

A couple years ago i wanted to make my own scarves but could not get the hang of knitting or crocheting,
I saw a child's loom in a shop made from plastic so i thought i could make my own and adapt it for scarf making and this is what i came up with and have made loads of scarves for me and the family, great for Christmas prezzies

I have something very similar. It's slightly wider and is in two parts that bolt together, so I can travel with it (although I haven't felt the need to do that yet - maybe because I don't do much travelling ).

It's fabulous - you can get so much more creative with colour and texture than with knitting or crocheting. I love it.
