Wanted (please) - Leg Rings for Hens x 4

As people probably know, we now have 4 rescued hens. At the moment they are quite feather-less and we can use their lack of feather patterns to identify them. Two of them do have striking differences (one with a large comb, one with a dropped wing) but I spent 20 minutes last night watching the other two and I've realise that once they are fully feathered I really won't be able to tell the difference between them!

I wondered if anyone had 4 coloured leg rings going spare please? I can only find to buy them in packs of 10 on Ebay, which is obviously far more than I need! I'm happy to pay postage or do a trade in some way.

The place where I buy my chook food sells them for 14p each.

Ooooh thats good to know. Although we don't have a proper local supplier of our feed - we have to order it in from the local pet food supplier. I guess I'll have to find a better supplier. Thanks for the tip Zoe.

Look out for garden centres with equestrian departments. They often sell poultry supplies as well.
