Mrs Dville I like your bit by bit approach, I've been doing the same thing recently with kitchen cloths. We used to use disposable cloths for washing up (ok they lasted a week before falling apart) but now we use white flannels and I wash some every day so I've got a good suply. I've swapped kitchen roll for squares of cotton moses basket sheet, and again they're washed every day. I think I'm getting there, but I don't really want to start using wee wipes lol!!

the competition has closed and andy will choose 10 then everyone will vote (i think thats right) - i have a question though - are those who entered the competition allowed a vote? or not?

obviously i want to win, but it feels a bit weird if i were to vote for myself!

Poo

I just read them all to see if my tip was already on there and when I got to the end I found I had missed out by one day

Sorry about that. Got to be harsh though I am afraid, or have I? Well it would not be fair on the rest of the others if I did let you I guess. Don't worry we do have lots of competitions these days so I am sure you will get something else you might like if you keep entering.

Right I will set up the voting tomorrow, it is has been rather hetic of late and I am full of cold.

No worries

I will have a go at future comps

My tip was this.

Don't cut up all of your credit cards if you are trying to go back to just using cash. It is always good to have an emergency zero monthly charge credit card just in case. but to stop you using it on frivolous things you need to put it in a washed out tin can full of water and put it in the freezer. It will take you a good while to defrost it and because it is in a metal can you cannot cheat and put it in the microwave.

Nope, not with capital one 34% intrest cards it doesn't..... Mind you I did wrap it in cling film and a poly bag first. I never used the tin idea but just done it on a block of ice and then set it in a dish to see how long it would take to thaw out. Actually it's not that long ... especially when you use a hair dryer or some boiling water to get at the card...lovely credit cards, I want more...... :flower:

Am I being silly but I can't see how to vote twice. Once I cast my first vote there isn't an option to vote again!!
