The discussion on mulberry trees provoked a distant memory when I was a toddler my elder sister kept silk worms. Where she got them from and where she sourced the white mulberry tree leaves (the leaves from black mulberry which produces the fruit are no good) I don't know.
But I do remember the beautifual pure gold thread she collected.
Do any ishers indulge in this bit of self-sufficiency?
