Camelias ..how?

Post: # 192375Post becks77 »

Hi,
I have managed to get a couple of cuttings from camelias and wondered what to do next at the mo I have stripped the stalks, leaving 2 leaves per stalk, and left them in a pot of water on the windowsill, I'm thinking a dusting of rooting powder and pop them in a plant pot of miracle grow...yes? and how long before I can plant out and then how long before I get one of those beautiful tall shrubs with huge red flowers? Does anyone have any guidance to offer please?
Thank you
Becks
