No I won't use a smiley because I've decided to turn into Boboff, as he's turned all nice all of a sudden. Grumble grumble.

Re: What are we all having for dinner?
We had roast chicken and veg. While that was cooking I prepared the menu for next week - chilli, spag bol (one lot of mince becomes both - cheat!), boiled a ham (the stock will make soup at some point, so it will go in the freezer) and browned the meat for a steak pie on Thursday. I'll be using the left over chicken, including picking the carcass clean before I use it for stock, to make a curry on Friday night. (Don't worry I'll be making the curry tomorrow and freezing it for friday so it won't go off!) I think Saturday will be fish pie. Guess that covers it!

Lentil cottage pie with sweet potato mash on top because I have sweet potatoes to use up
loosely following a recipe by Rose Elliot but I make this dish a lot so it has kind of evolved
Very cheap dish and very tasty and filing

Tonight it is omlette and chips (they have started laying again. Yippee!) with beans. Yesterday was shepherds pie using Sunday's leftover roast lamb chopped finely, with a swede/potato/cheesy mashed top, and lots of savoy cabbage. Mmmm

Re: What are we all having for dinner?
Last night we ate baked beetroot and goat cheese, followed by the last of the small pumpkins, hollowed out and baked in the oven with a filling of coconut and green veggie curry. On the side a nice bit of January King cabbage and then an apple pie. All veg and fruit from the allotment, except coconut of course.
About to leave work, tonight, yes I wonder what are we having for dinner

We were supposed to be having steak pie - but didn't get round to stewing the steak - so we have chicken curry instead. Followed by a slice of very yummyfruit cake - a gift from a friend

Chicken madras, with added home grown green beans, pepper, chilli and cauli from the freezer to make the meat go further.

Re: What are we all having for dinner?
Believe it or not but we had snow in Cyprus yesterday and it's been bitter today, so nothing better than a chilli to warm us up tonight. Put a bit too much home dried hot chillies in though so we are lovely and warm now.
