Habitat: Grass, although the area used to be wasteland covered in stinging nettles until the summer, partially covered by a tree, very shaded.
Gills: gills are kind of brown
Stem: very thin, nothing on it.
Cap: Brown to yellow, looks like a sea shell
Location: Banstead, Surrey.

It looks like a Hares Foot ink cap. If the edges start to dissolve then that's the clincher.
