Help with email address bar please!
Hi all,
Recently my daughter came to stay overnight, and during her stay, she used my laptop to sign into her emails. After she left to go home,I went to log into my own email address (Hotmail)but daughters email address/password are already plugged into the bars? Its been like this for a few weeks now,so everytime I log into my emails,I have to keep using the backspace button to remove her details. Can someone please suggest a way I can remove her details?TIA xox

What browser are you using? Usually it will ask if you want to save the changed details. Firefox and Chrome do, others I'm not sure about.
In Firefox, go to Tool > options. Click on security > saved logins. Find hotmail and highlight (presumably your gal's details) then click on remove. Close everything and restart browser then it should either have reinstalled your details or type in and save.
Other browsers will have something similar. Hope that helps. Flowers to my husband.

He wants flowers? Strange man! Something to be said for getting emails on the desktop by way of something like Thunderbird ...
Re: Help with email address bar please!
If you are using Chrome browser, as all the best people are , you need to go into settings .. that's the 3 line grid icon over on the far left of the top bar. Then scroll down to "passwords and forms" and pick the one you need to change.
No flowers necessary.

Splendid. OH is sobbing quietly - no flowers. (I use Chrome too but have to wait for my gal to help).

Good, I'm pleased you fixed it even though I told you the wrong side of the top bar for "settings"happyhippy wrote:Odsox I followed your advice as I have Chrome. It worked!
Far left , must have been on another planet when I typed that.
If anyone else reads these instructions, IT'S ON THE FAR RIGHT !!!
