For sale; L reg car, good runner but MOT failure

ok - the Seat has finally been retired - so its up for grabs for spares or to someone with the time and talent to tinker. Its an L reg Ibiza, white, with reasonable bodywork and all major parts.

It runs absolutely fine and has recently had a new tyre, new brake pads, new oil filter etc, but has just failed the MOT on emissions (of all types) and has a lot of advisories re impending rust and general oldness. The garage quoted about £200 to get it through the MOT and its not worth it but should be way cheaper for anyone who could do the work themselves and once sorted it would be good for at least another year.

Aside from emissions it runs a little rich but has no other mechanical problems - but neither front window works. It has a sunroof though (windows are for wimps) and its only the winder mechanisms so could be fixed without too much problem with a trip to the breakers.

It has no MOT obviously, and no tax. It's just outside of Chippenham and you're welcome to come and see it before you hand over the cash, or I can fax the MOT info over for you to cost the work before you buy.

We'd like £100 - if anyone pays more I will donate to the site auction fund but I didn't think this was appropriate to put in the action section given the rather unpostable nature of the thing.
