Secret Santa style seed swap

Post: # 98691Post Taf »

HI All.

I think that I sent the seeds to poster "hopeful", and as she didn't have an address as per her post, and as I haven't received anything, I pm'd her with my address to see if she wanted to send directly. I entered twice and sent two sets of seeds, but didn't get anything so maybe my address didn't get sent out at the time.

Never mind.

Thanks,
Billy (Taf)

Ok this whole thing seems to have gone ti** up.

Really sorry people, I have sent an email as well now.

This seed swap had nothing to do with Selfsufficientish, it occurred independently.

Even so, If anyone is really upset then I can have a quick look through my old seeds and send some spares on as some kind of compensation.

What a shame, :( I think that it was probably just a little too complicated as a secret Santa maybe. One seed box on its travels does work much better.

I am not upset, so please dont worry on my account. It sounded like fun thats all. But seriously if anyone would like to pm me I have lots of half opened pks of seeds that can go to a good home.

Its a shame the secret santa swap didnt work out, it would have been interesting.

Andy I dont think anyone would want any kind of compensation!! :flower:

Hi All.

I am not too worried that I didn't receive anything, as it was just a bit of fun anyway, and it won't stop me getting involved in future seed swaps. I think it is a great idea in general, as no one ever seems to plant all the seeds that they buy, and I definitely can't keep up with all the ones that I have. I also think swaps are good, becuase you might get something you would never thing of buying yourself, and it's no harm to try something different for the price of a stamp.

If anyone does want to send me something, they can send them to the below address. Include your own address, and I will send something back.

Thanks,

Billy Naughton.

Hi All.

I have been in contact with the two people that I sent seeds to, and they are sending some back to me, so no need for anyone else to send any sympathy seeds.

Thanks anyway.
Billy.
