I'd just like to add that twice since I first read this post, I have burned myself and used honey on the burn... Hardly a mark now and seemed to ease the pain too. So thank you for drawing my attention to the healing properties of honey! :)

I found this thread a really useful refresher course on the virtues of honey for healing tums as well as wounds - I'm going to move a jar into the medicine cabinet right now as a constant reminder to myself...!

Great stuff thanks for the tip! My little boy has been pestered with the diarrhoea since that awful vomiting and diarrhoea bug has been going about and no medicine from the doctors seems to be really clearing it up.

Thanks i will try that with him.
