Thieving from gardens is rife around here. I can't have any nice plants in pots as they disappear!

This year all my strawberry plants were taken ( only half a dozen,but what the...). Also, apples gone off my young tree.

I hope they enjoy them but i feel like screaming at them that i'm skint too! :cussing:

I went to my allotment today to find my compost bin had been nicked :( , I haven't been there for about two weeks because of the rain, but still thats my right isn't it? :angryfire:

"Touch wood" In the four years our allotments have been going nobody has "lost" anything, but then we are in a very small village with some retirement bungalows right opposite the site with some very vigilant occupants. I dont think I would be able to continue growing veg for other people to nick. pbf.

the same thing hapens here too but on a much grander scale. large farmers who have large orchards of things like avacado trees, almond trees, pumpkin patches etc, any large scale operation have taken to hiring security guards when it is close to harvest time as people have been taking truck loads of produce at night costing the growers tons of $$$.thus affection the end consumer US.!!! theft on any scale is just not right.!!!!! :angryfire: :angryfire: :angryfire:
