Does anyone else have a partner who doesn't like eating the same thing twice?
My Dad's favourite meal was cold meat and fry-up so the sunday roast was spoken for until everything ran out. Not so my OH - after a few months of impressing him with my fantastic sunday dinners, he informed me that he didn't really like having leftovers.
My solution to this - I completely ignored him! He's still here (25 years next year) so he can't hate it that much.

How can he not like leftovers!

I find that a lot of the time the leftovers are better than the original meal!
(hmmm had leftover haggis for lunch yesterday)

I must say that I like to stagger meals, for instance we had a small pork roast on Sunday the remains of which will be in a pork hash tonight.
Yesterday we had a half a large turkey & ham pie (frozen just after Christmas

) and we will have the other half tomorrow.
But that is just one of my funny ways ... like a dinner should ALWAYS include a green vegetable (no idea why that is though)

Actually it was my grandmother that influenced me most as she did all the cooking when I was growing up.
And she cooked through TWO world wars, so had a modicum of experience in creative cooking.

 Me too unless it's carrots!

If I'm having something which wouldn't normally be served with a veg like spag bol I eat salad with it. It's hard eating out in France because vegetables with a meal are practically unheard of unless they are chips, though if you are lucky you might get a limp lettuce leaf on a hot plate with hot food covered in sauce.
