I've heard of those - lots of people living in France seem to get them in their attics especially during their renovations. Not nice when hundreds or thousands of flies appear inside your house or you find them dead on the carpet! :pukeright:

main problem down here are the mozzies, mozzy----> :violent3:
have just decided to leave my window open all the time, if the can find me, they're welcome to a coupla drops.
lovely and fresh in the morning aswell!
we had one of those long dangly things in the kitchen once, the look and smell awful, and being over six foot i managed to get myself caught more often than the damn flies :puke:
As I ping from tree to tree I wonder... why do I seem to have transformed into a pinging tree-dwelling thing?

If you've got a problem with fruit flies, I found a wonderfully effective fly trap described on a site from the US. Put a lump of over ripe banana in the bottom of a jam jar, half cover with vinegar with a drop of washing up liquid in, this causes a film on the vinegar and the flies can't get out again. Cover the jar with cling film or a bit of plastic bag with forksize holes in. If you really want to, you can make it look pretty by covering the jar, but whatever you do the flies love it.

Just remember - time flies like an arrow, but fruit flies like banana.
