Sorry to butt in but how many people go bike riding or fishing or any other outdoor activity in the evening, after a day of working, and especially when it's dark?
Shouldn't this be ideas of things to do at the end of the day after dinner when you're not feeling very active?
Or maybe you all DO do this sort of thing in the evening?
I don't cos I'm a morning person!

52. Draw or paint
Whether rediscovering a simple childhood pleasure or creating a lasting masterpiece , drawing can be very relaxing and cost no more an a pencil and a scrap of paper.

Chesil beach at night is beautiful. With no street lights to impede night vision, the shooting stars are easy to see; as are all the other stars. Sitting listening to the waves crashing on the shingle while waiting for a bite is my idea of perfection. Watching the moon rise over Weymouth Bay is pretty good too. I get the best results from my prawn traps and crab nets from the Stone Pier after dark. Fishing at night is more relaxing than during the day because there are fewer holidaymakers around getting drunk and being rowdy.
That sounds lovely!

I think its lovely too and I've done the overnight fishing thing at Chesil Beach once as well, that was great fun! (I didn't actually do any fishing myself though, it was a friend who did that and there were quite a lot of other people there doing the same thing).

60. De-head the roses
Just spent the last evening doing this. It very therapeutic I found. Might depend on how many roses you have, but we have many (planted by previous owner) . I get to wander around the garden, and after a while my mind gets to wander too.
