I think you have the opposite weather to us - it's not got much out of winter temps yet apart from a week whilst we were away. But dry as a bone! I'm back in winter clothes with heating on and electric blanket but was in summer clothes slathered in sun cream 9 or 10 days ago in SW France. :( But I need to get my hosepipe out to water my flower beds before it is too late to rewet them.

I'm really sorry for your birds though. :(
