There is a company Norfolk way who recycles plastc bags and the plastic film magazines etc come in (like the Saturday newspaper so all the junk mail doesn't fall out 
). As far as I know they do it on site. I'll dig the address out to post.
I have to say I'd wondered about the bag recycling. The company in the UK has to have clean bags, with no paper, food debris, dirt etc as otherwise the whole batch is ruined. It's not actually cost effective (they do it as a public service alongside their main business) and having to check each bag would mean too many staff to be feasible. Given that most of the population struggle with basic waste sorting, I'd have thought most bags in a supermarket drop off point would have a till receipt or some other rubbish in them.
