last year our solstice got spoilt by some kids who broke into the garden and smashed part of my chicken run up. mind you they were lucky the dog didn't catch them. so we had to catch the birds, check they were ok, call the police, who did nothing

We'll be making biscuits to hang on the trees outside for the birds and having a dark meal with sunny veggies - it might be a roast... or it might be a steak pie.
Chances are there will be a bottle of beer or wine involved too.
