What you doing for solstice?

I quite fancy going to 2steps' place - it sounds good!

Company Christmas do here though - my company (me) + OH's company (him) have a joint party (we're both self employed)

I've heard about people going into labour in Marks, or T***o and being lavished with vouchers or groceries (I think it may be an urban myth). I'm not sure if hanging around pubs (or health food shops) would produce the same yield??? I'm down the pub if so...

I'm so glad I wasn't out when I went into labour. It was so fast I may well of ended up giving birth in asda or on the bus or something

last year our solstice got spoilt by some kids who broke into the garden and smashed part of my chicken run up. mind you they were lucky the dog didn't catch them. so we had to catch the birds, check they were ok, call the police, who did nothing

Sounds like fun!!!

We'll be making biscuits to hang on the trees outside for the birds and having a dark meal with sunny veggies - it might be a roast... or it might be a steak pie.

Chances are there will be a bottle of beer or wine involved too.
