Organic tomatoes?

Sorry, yes I checked the programme it was potassium and not nitrogen. Got over excited there I think!

They did talk about green collar for a while and insisted that potash was the remedy. Maybe yours is a different disease with similar symptoms.

I shall keep my eye out for the symptoms on other programmes as I don't want you to give up with your tomatoes.

I'm not going to give up! I have some seeds of Gardeners Delight and they have always been successful so I'm going to grow them this year.

Maybe I'll put more wood ashes on them than ready made tom fertiliser - though this year I am potting them up in home made potting compost as I finally have enough lovely leaf mould and gorgeous compost - which has only taken 2 long years to get to that state! :lol:

Am also not going to put them in the sunniest hottest place either as that seems to ruin my toms. I think they need some shade.

Only produced a handful of green tomatoes last year... :cry:
