Chickens

I got some chicks that were a couple of months old - old enough to be sexed, and they are much easier to handle than birds that I obtained as adults. I have them tame enough to hand feed, and last time they escaped it only took a couple of minutes to persuade them back in the enclosure. If any of the older birds gets out it takes 20 minutes of clucking panic and 2 people to get them back again. Despite me going in and out of their shed and feeding them for months they are just not getting any tamer. Not that I want them to perch on my shoulder, I'd just like a little less squawking anytime I come near them
we bought them from a battery farm, saved them before they surfed instead of after.
I would really like to do this... it sounds like a great idea (best of both worlds!) Does anyone have any suggestions how to find some?
