Good luck with the exam. As for a selfsufficientish exam  lets hope not.

It's got to be a lot more interesting than say a maths exam!

Good luck with the exams, whatever the subject may be, Jinwin. :thumbright:

lol Jinwin- I can sympathise. I'm doing my finals, and have banned myself from getting a copy until after my last exam! It'd be too tempting as a distraction, but will make a very nice reward.

Good luck!!! :study:

Just got mine from Amazon and tried making the nettle beer already, I was in agony while picking the young nettle shoots and my chickens kept giving me disgusted looks, due in part to my colourful language-my fingers and hands are still stinging-Andy this beer had better be worth it!!

You really should wear gloves yknow.... ouch :pale: :pale: Though I am reliably informed nettle stings help with rheumatism pains.

I must say, I have loads of books that I love - dog-eared cook books from the days of yore, and a fine collection of gardening books; and yet with hand on heart I will say that the Ish Bible comes out EVERY DAY. I love it. And so does my 4 year old, he loves flicking through to his favourite pages (the twin boys cooking, the shrunken head apples and the pic of Andy and Dave outside the tent) - he thinks Andy and Dave are incredibly cool because they ride bikes and go camping in the woods and aren't even afraid of monsters or rats or crocodiles, nor nothing.

I was sending Andy a wee Facebook message the other day and Ellis piped up 'Ooh, that's the hairy boy from the book, Mummy. But only one of them. They are fab-u-lous. Where's the other one gone?'

So...Ellis is very concerned about Dave's whereabouts. I told him Dave had gone camping, but he gave me one of those cynical, disbelieving looks that only 4 year olds can.....

will he finish it before Andy? The race is on!!

By the way, my hands have stopped stinging, I have invested in a pair of thick gardening gloves.
The nettle beer is bubbling away, VERY VIOLENTLY!!
I am scared...............

Just got my Bible out today to look up the elderflower cordial recipe. Last year's was Sophie Grigson's recipe, this year the twins' one. Shall I dare say which one is the best when I've tried it?
