Depends if you want soapy tasting rocket! I have scale insect on some my oleanders but they are small plants at the moment so I just pick them off with my fingernails. Will try the infamous recipe if the insects attack my bigger plant! :lol:

I am interested to read this, I don't have a problem with the lemon tree (btw epsom salts is the thing to use on them), but several gum trees have a real bad infestation of a scale type thing - not the same as the scale beetle I knew in the UK, but a much worse infestation than I have ever seen, Some fifteen year old trees are struggling to survive the attack.
