Hello from Finland !
Confused Newby. Lacking in grey cells.
Hi all.
Bit strange how I came accross this site, I was looking for like minded people who might share the same values as me! Anyway I desperatly want to get away from my house, which at times seems to be a bit of a prison
I have a medium sized panel van and decided to live on the road for a couple of weeks, take a few photos that sort of thing, well it's a bit dull living in a suburban jungle with testoterone males full of it, shaved heads. My neighbour thinks I am odd, cos I don't share his values, he's a bit of a nasty
tosser.
Well so be it!! Skint by name.

Re: Hello from Finland !
A little up-date: I bought a little farm with an old blockhouse.
No chemicals on the field since 7 years - acc. to EU or local (?) rules or laws, that means it's 'officially' good for organic growth.
I'll continue to work for salary (to pay off the loan...) and start the gardening for hobby. I'll be probably back here soon to ask your tips for economical living in my new old house.

Re: Hello from Finland !
Congratulations! Keep us updated how to get on - it sounds great, to start off with. How big is the farm, and what will you be doing with the land? Will you be keeping some livestock?

Hei Jackie,
Welcome.
My brother and his family live in Turku - I visited a couple of years ago and fell in love with the place.

Heh, thanks all!
Aerial photo from my place:
It's all together 3,86 ha. The field is about 3 ha. I'm not sure yet, what I do with it. Something which doesn't take to much time obviously, since I am fulltime working. Lots of flowers. And vegetable gardening just for own use. And herbs, for spices and teas. And lots of garlic.ina wrote:How big is the farm, and what will you be doing with the land?
I'd love to have some chicken, but I have to think about that. They need heated place in winter...Will you be keeping some livestock?
