lol!! By now, it's a running joke in our family! Every year at about this time, my mom calls and asks, "so, what are you...ahem..uh...cooking for Thanksgiving this year?" or, "Should I cook a turkey for Christmas this year, or did you have...er..something planned?" After I respond with "No, Mom, Lunch is still hanging out with the flock", she about falls over laughing... 
Honestly, I thought the joke would loose it's luster after a while, but this one seems to just get better with time.
I told Mom that if Lunch comes home with us for Christmas, it will be in a nice, straw lined crate, and he will expect the finest ground corn for his Christmas meal....at the table with the rest of us, of course! LOL!
