I'll add a side topic to this conversation - People always used to tell me and Andy apart by him being the short-haired twin. I've had long hair on and off since the age of fifteen. I then shaved my head a few years ago following a trip to India and before it had grown back Andy grew his.

I've been gently encouraging him to get a haircut but he refuses to. He seems to listen to people on the forum so....
...should he do it?

Keep your hair Andy!

For the time being at least, I'll be keeping my beard!

And what is wrong with you getting your haircut Dave? Perhaps you could even grow a beard if you are that worried that people can't tell the difference.

back to the original thread  good choice Nev.

my dad has had a moustache for as long as i can remember. He shaved it off on holiday once but looked so vulnerable without it!

And what is wrong with you getting your haircut Dave?
Probally the same reason you don't want to Andy.

Kinda glad you're keeping the beard Nev but must admit I was a little intreaged what you might look like without it.

Ok - here is another annoying twin question...

The comments above have prompted it....

Do twins enjoy looking alike? Despite all the other external stuff that might/must get annoying, is there actually something comforting or reassuring about looking the same as another person?... Or maybe being able to try out a new haircut on someone who looks just like you?

I have a friend who is an identical triplet. The three girls live in different parts of Aus, but she often comments on their hair, and has shown me pics of when one of them has tried a new haircut, which has enevitably been followed by similar haircuts by the others. I remember it being quite strange to me, that she would say, "I liked our hair that way better"...

So, do you guys maintain separate hair cuts? Or do you find they have become the same sometimes?... Just wonderin and hope my question is not too nnoying

that's a new one actually, It does my head in if Dave is looking rough as I think do I look that bad?

I think the haircuts thing is not something that I really think about, what normally happens is when we live in the same town we end up looking different when we move apart we look more similar although that has not really been the case with this haircut.
