I don't think we are really doing a book signing tour, that seems more for your famous folk and that we are not.

I imagine that if enough people ask the managers of their local book shops then something will be sorted out.

What we can do is set up a calender of events for the promo stuff and let people know if we are going to be nearby.

What about we sign bits of paper that can then be posted back then stuck in your books? Or is that a daft idea?

I am still waiting to hear what we can offer online, hopefully we can get something sorted.

You will be, you will be...

Maybe you can do a bit of signing now and then, whenever there are a few Ishers together, and you are in the vicinity? For example, Nev could bring up a load of signed copies when he comes up north in May? We'd have to order them from you, of course, and send a cheque or whatever...

Photo shoots, local & national papers, regional tv stations, all interested in a new angle. Thats if you don't mind the publicity!

I walked into my local PO that was earmarked for closure, low and behold a face I recognised, a reporter for the BBC SE News. They jumped on me, the PO Master said this guy, he's the one you want, he's an anti closure supporter, he complained. I was interviewed on camera and I hated it, publicity is something I don't need, gladly the piece wasn't broadcast!
too many interests, not enough cash.

Strange amazon seem to have it ready for dispatch now too. Not sure what is going on, should not be out yet. Mind you it has been printed already so I guess some shops just stock stuff as soon as they get it? - I am grinning as I write this.

I enquired in my local waterstones a week ago, and they said it would not be out until april 7th.
I'll just keep checking.

Wow, I better get down there pronto!

Oh, hang on - reality check - I'm a week into a new job, & due to issues around benefit I hardly have any income in March, need to wait for April salary before I can indulge.

But never fear, indulge I will

I remember going to Peterborough WHS one day. It was a couple of days before a magazine said it would be out (next issue due out on Xth...). WHS had the magazine on the shelf - I asked why it was on the shelf early and WHS replied that they were told to put things out as soon as they got it.

Tempting to buy it now but then my birthday is next month..
