I have an old washing machine in my garden. no idea what to do with it except call the council to take it away which could (will) take months. any ideas on what I can do with bits of it? it all looks so interesting lol!!! we've already taken two of the concrete blocks to use to keep the shed door shut...

The inner drum makes a nice fire-pit thing, you could probably even put a grill over the top for a bbq. It´s very pretty as the firelight radiates throught the holes.

I cant think of a re use for bits but don't you have a local scrap man... We have a couple now and I know where the one lives so if we need to get rid of stuff Hubby sticks a note under his wiper it works a treat :flower: and he doesn't charge like the council do

- Take the door off its hinges and use it as a goldfish bowl.
- Strip out all the wiring as use as, well, wire.
- Any knobs or buttons that can be removed, could be made into something, artwork or plaything just use your imagination.
- Does it have adjustable feet? Could be worth keeping to put on a piece of furniture that doesn't.
- Sometimes the top can be removed - very useful to put on top of something or under something. Make into a coffee or play table.
- Use the empty cabinet as a wendy house - although there may be too many sharp edges. If so, then can you use it for storing anything in the garden (animal home perhaps?).
