Ah...I've been away from the board for a while due to illness and completely missed your trip.
Pity I didn't know you were in my vicinity...given I have more than a passing interest in your chosen mode of transport!

You don't have to have been alone to talk to animals... I do it all the time.
I was once talking to a Peacock In Marion Wilson Park nearby here... got a few strange looks... including one from the Peacock but it followed me around it's huge pen though and no one else
But then I am mad anyway!
I shall try chatting to my local foxes next time I see them down the road, see what they think

Re: A couple of Videos from the cycle trip
Well, I am half planning the next journey. I thought seeing the Suspension Bridges of the UK might be a good one. It would be nice to be joined for bits of the journey if not all of it. It's roughly 1000 miles and covers much of the UK. Here is a rough map. This is how I started to plan the other journey. Will have to see if I can stay with ishers again as that was certainly some of the highlights of the trip.
Obviously I will be talking to the animals still too

Andy you know that there's a bath, a bed, a bite to eat and beer here any time you want it!
Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!
