Fruit Tree

Hi i planted a new plum tree in garden today and i was wondering if this plum damson merryweather is a good fruit cropping breed of plum tree.

Well i got information on the plum damson merryweather, its a great cropper with large blue/black fruit with yellow flesh, delicious rich tangy flavour, excellent for jams and pies, sounds good yes, just what i want.
