I know this sounds really green  but I generally tend to stick to my tried and tested vegetables and flowers and have never grown begonias before.
Well, I now have several growing in pots and just realised I don't know how to take the cuttings from them without killing them off - any help will be gratefully received.
My nan used to grow loads on her windowsills but i must not have taken that info in  please help.

Don't worry, it's so easy it can be done by accident. I had a small plant in a glass cookie jar (as a mini terrarium) and knocked some of the leaves off, for some reason I left them inside the jar and now they are individual plants. You can cut off leaves with a little bit of stalk left on and put them in water and they should just grow roots.
