Small but useful(?) tip

Hi all, my top tip of the day is; ask at restaurants/your local cafe/work's canteen/any catering kitchen for any old 5litre mayonnaise/sauce buckets. They usually have more than they know what to do with and are perfect for painting, decorating, really any household or gardening use. Money saving for us, and it saves them getting binned!

I just got some from our cafe at work, they're perfect for my wallpapering exploits!

Yes, they are great ... I have loads of them, and with a few holes drilled in the bottom make great pots for tomatoes and peppers.

Fix the lid of a larger one to the base of a slightly smaller one. Then make holes in the sides of the smaller one at the bottom. Home made chook feeder. Will try to post a pic if I can rescue it from the chooks.
