Wandering round my garden this morning in sunshine and there are signs of life, snowdrops in bud and bulbs pushing through. Two hellebores with buds on!

So I looked through some summer photos of my garden and thought I'd post them here as it's something lovely to look forward to. Post your spring/summer garden piccies here too!

:color: WOW!!

What beautiful gardens, both of you.

Thank you, they really cheered up my grey morning. Unfortunately I have nothing I can post from last year as was sans garden.

So nice to see the light as well, a totally different light from this time of year. Roll on...I can't WAIT!

Thanks folks, that really cheered me up - even though I wasn't feeling particularly down

I don't grow much in the way of flowers, beautiful though they are, they somehow don't seem to fit with the general landscape, plus our garden's not very big and is all earmarked for veg or fruit.

I think I must try to find a little spot though, and I'm very jealous of your lupins Susie. I tried for years to grow them back in Manchester with no success at all.

Wow. Gorgeous gardens MMM and Susie! I love flowers but I tend to be their death knell. I have never been successful with flowers. But after seeing your pics, I am definitely going to give it a try this year. My balcony would be perfect for a Hosta I think and I love the varieties they come in. I also love lupins, but they would be a no go in a north-east facing location, so I am a little jealous Susie.

Thanks MMM, I've got a bit of unused-hard-to-use space down the lottie that I didn't know what to do with & your little corner of colour has inspired me!

You know photos are only taken after the weeding's been done and the lawn and edges are nice and neat and tidy.

Susie - you've got TWO greenhouses! Lucky you!

I fell down a rabbit hole today and managed to fall right on top of newly poked through snowdrops, they are a bit flat now  I hope they manage to recover from my yomping great weight

At the beginning of last year i had been living in a flat and had the allotment.
In may i moved to house with overgrown cottage garden, so i lopped everthing so i had room to move.
As the summer progressed things started to flower which i took photos of for reference.
This year i intend to sort it out so it looks better :salute:

Thanks everyone :sunny: that's a great cheerer-upper on a wet and grey day.

Had forgotten all about flowers

All morning at work was feeling a bit down in the dumps and just kept saying 'foxgloves, lavender, lupins' to self.

I don't have any summer garden pics I don't think :dontknow: but will have a look

Good sunshine wishes to all :sunny:
