Definitely, but as mentioned in another post they're probably not fully ripe until the end of August/ early September.

But - depending on where you are picking from I think there's a rule not to pick below dog peeing height. Well that's what I was taught when I was little. :lol:

And of course wash them anyway.

MMM dosn't that depend on the size of dog do you allow for a great dane or a jack russel :lol: :lol:

I have just picked loads from our garden...well actually the bushes are in next doors garden but they all hang over our fence! He hates blackberries and is happy for me to lean over as far as I can reach! :iconbiggrin: Huge ones as the garden is very neglected now but they used to be cultivated. The neighbour just hires someone to give everything a severe pruning early spring then its left to grow wild after that...it has fantastic wildlife. :thumbright:
