Hello,

As you've probably heard, Japan has been hit by a huge tsunami, triggered by the biggest earthquake of the last century.

With the expected death toll on the increase, this is a terrible thing to happen and my deepest sympathies go out to those affected by this disaster, including of course any members of this forum who are unlucky enough to be personally affected.

Best,

Dane

Yes I also wish to add my deepest sympathy to all people that have been affected. There is something really quite awful happening in the world, its one disaster after another.I come from Australia, and we've had droughts, cyclone's,floods, and New Zealand's earthquake! Its becoming quite worrying to say the least.

Been hanging around hospital most of today, feeling sorry for ourselves...read the news in London evening standard on train home and decided life is not that bad for us after all! Terrible news.

Just horrendous, all this terrible weather and flooding and hurricanes and earthquakes and we complain about a bit of snow. :(

Just wanted to add my sincere condolencies :(

We live on a very dynamic planet & these horrific (from the human perspective) events are the price we pay. As each earthquake relieves tension in one place, it effectively passes it along the fault, so there will be further activity in this area for a while to come yet :(

Those poor people, I felt sick watching the footage and seeing cars trying to outrun it and not making it :pale: and now a nuclear plant has had an explosion too, that's all they're gonna need. I think you're right Muddywitch, it's not the end of it.

I can't imagine going through such a traumatic experience and loosing family and friends and everything you know. I need to remember how lucky I am.
