hi guys,
I have had a few ex batts free ranging at the top of my garden for t year now and have learned what plants they like to eat and ones that they leave alone!
since they completly obliterated the lawn I have been left with a rather large muddy space!
Does any one have any ideas for plants that chickens dont like to eat??

so far Ive learned that they dont eat:
Camillas
Ivy
Rhodderdendron
box
Conifers
Pampas Grass
Heathers (although they trample all over it!)
forest flame
forsythia
lavender
holly
anything too high for them to reach!!!!

any one any more ideas, need to fill quite a large space!!!

Herbs, perhaps. Ours leave the sage and bay alone, but will clear the chives if they can get at them. I think they also left the parsley.
