Note for Santa
I have been a very good boy this weekend and have done all my chores. I have (in no particular order) done the following:
Cleaned the fridge
Cleaned and sorted all the kitchen cupboards
Cleaned bathroom and toilets
Washed floors
Sorted all my documents and cleared my office room
Made some paper logs with the above documents
Got bike MOT ed and taxed
Did some maintenance on the bike
Rubbed some paintwork down ready for painting.
Cleaned my camping kit and stored away
Been shopping, so pretty much ready for Xmas
Written all my Xmas cards and letters
Please Santa can I have another weekend so I can recover

Did you remember to dust under the fridge, you naughty boy!

Re: Note for Santa
The main motivation due to incoming guests at Xmas and I thought I best make a bit of an effort. Will try and do a bit more next weekend, then they will have to take me as they find me. Sorry but Orkney is a bit outside of my patch.

Re: Note for Santa
That's a shame BB as you'd be very welcome. At least we don't have a housefull of guests this year so it could be worse, a nice quiet time for us hopefully. Good luck with it all.

Phew BB, I'm exhausted just reading that. Think I need to sit down and rest a while.

Re: Note for Santa
Due to you being on Orkney spider8, I'll find my way there and do the cleaning. But only because you are on Orkney.

Re: Note for Santa
I know I should smarten up and clean the place but I need an injection of Christmas cheer...........been rather depressed of late so feel like it can all wait until the New Year when I really do hope I'll be feeling more up for it. Believe me, it took one hell of a push just to write the Christmas cards. So well done BB and Flo, we'd gladly show you around Orkney if you come up anytime. We had a most wonderful Christmas staying in a little self-catering place right on the coast at Fenham-le-Moor near Belford, just the two of us and the wildlife, no neighbours, just peace and quiet - lovely. Northumberland is so beautiful.

Re: Note for Santa
One day I might make it up to the Orkneys or Shetland. Definitely on my places to visit list, having pretty much exhausted Ireland. Maybe I'm to blame for their economic problems. I stopped going in 2007 and their economy crashed the following year.
